How we support you.
Our Founder
Meet our director, Char Grossman
Char Grossman, Founder of YogaReach®, is an educational psychologist and certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT). Char pioneered a cutting-edge adaptive therapeutic YogaReach® business in 2004, after she overcame a life-threatening neurological issue. The traumatic experience inspired her to create YogaReach® and introduce Mindful Movement adaptive therapeutic yoga to individuals with medical challenges.
Char has authored blogs, a teaching manual, produced video podcasts and is contributing a chapter in a Sports for Parkinson's book. She has appeared on CureTalks, been interviewed twice by the Huffington Post, and presented a research abstract at the Symposium on Yoga Therapy
and Research (SYTAR).
On a regular basis, Char leads Mindful Movement classes at InMotion, a wellness center for people with Parkinson's Disease. She also trains professionals nationwide to create adaptive therapeutic yoga
movement classes for people living with Parkinson’s Disease in their communities.
